Job TitleLooking for a Resident Manager to support the construction of a dark fiber conduit line across Tennessee.This job will be working in tandem with a Construction Manager and an Inspector. The Resident Manager should be based out of the Knoxville, TN area and expect to travel to the construction sites across Virginia roughly 80% of their time.Position Responsibilities• Inspect fiber optic construction sites to ensure they comply with contract terms and local, state, and federal regulations for safety and compliance• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that the work meets or exceeds the specifications outlined in the project plan• Communicate with contractors and other construction personnel to ensure they are meeting project schedule requirements• Report any discrepancies or problems with the construction site to Construction Manager for resolution• Identify and recommend improvements to the construction process to enhance efficiency and maintain project objectives• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all construction activity and project statusRegular deliverables expected of the Resident Manager:Construction Activity RegisterSite Fiber Optic Inspection RegisterConstruction Site Discrepancies Register**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
