As an FF&E Specialist at Perkins&Will Dallas, you will:
- Support FF&E design from concept to installation.
- Select and complete specification of all finishes, furniture, equipment and accessories.
- Contribute to the development of the interior design practice.
- Guide the FF&E design direction of a project in line with the purpose and function of the project.
- Fully understand project budgets by liaising with project managers or cost consultants.
- Source and select all materials, furniture, fittings, equipment and accessories.
- Accompany the client or Operator to visit showrooms or arrange for product samples.
- Prepare finishes boards and FF&E presentation boards to clients.
- Advise design team on new materials and their uses.
- Research and develop design in line with sustainability aspirations.
- Meet with suppliers to build library and inform designers on ongoing basis of all new products in the market.
- Manage the FF&E drawing package and the creation of all spec sheets to accepted standards.
- Oversee FF&E presentations to clients.
- Liaises with Project Directors, FF&E briefing on projects and monitors design excellence.
- Liaises with senior management via regular feedback sessions.
Proficiencies
- ·Experience with project coordination, managing work on site
- ·Experience in developing an FF&E package from inception to completion with focus on sustainability
- Experience in preparing presentations
- ·Excellent design and drawing experience along with ability to produce high quality detailed FF&E specification information
- ·Knowledge of REVIT, Photoshop, InDesign and SketchUp
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- ·Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team
- ·Excellent client management skills.

- Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite (including InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint)
- REVIT
Licensure/Certifications/Education
- Interior Design bachelor's degree or equivalent with focus on FF&E
- LEED GA within 6 months of hire
- Professional Accreditation in one area of Living Design that interests you: LEED AP with Specialty, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, Passive House Institute Certified Passive House Consultant/Designer CPHC/CPHD, or ILFI Living Future Accreditation
- Preparing for NCIDQ
