Overview

Sunday: Monday-Friday; Day shift

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to support a randomized clinical trial evaluating the effectiveness of two sleep interventions among middle and high school adolescents. This position is based in the laboratory of Dr. Lauren Asarnow. The role involves coordinating a large, school-based study and includes key responsibilities such as participant recruitment, maintaining partnerships with school stakeholders, overseeing study staff, and collaborating with school-based therapists.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will conduct independent and collaborative research under the guidance of the Principal Investigator. Responsibilities include managing study operations, analyzing data, contributing to scientific manuscripts, and disseminating findings through peer-reviewed publications. The fellow will also participate in seminars, meetings, trainings, and other professional development activities.

This position provides a robust training environment designed to develop research expertise, academic skills, and the foundation for a successful career in clinical and translational research.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Exposure to and/or experience in research in a healthcare environment preferred.

Highly Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field
  • Clinical training and experience working with adolescents
  • Prior research experience, including involvement in randomized controlled trials
  • Authorship on peer-reviewed publications
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, or SPSS)
  • Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Sleep Medicine or related areas

Education/Licensure/Certification: MD and/or PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree. Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree by their anticipated start date.

Pay Scale Information

$71,760.00-$85,155.20
