Pay: $18.50/hourSchedule:- Train on day shift
- Move to regular shift of 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM once trained
- Overtime is likely
- Full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity
Requirements- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds regularly
- Basic math skills, including weighing ingredients to the tenth of a pound
- Ability to bend, stoop, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is helpful but not required
- Willingness to learn equipment operation and production processes
ResponsibilitiesAs a Feed Mixer, you will help produce feed products by accurately measuring, weighing, and blending ingredients according to production orders. Responsibilities include:
- Using an automated computer system to select, edit, and start production orders
- Gathering hand-add ingredients and transporting them to the mixing area using carts or dollies
- Weighing ingredients accurately and adding them to mixers
- Operating and monitoring production equipment after training
- Following production specifications and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Assisting with other production duties as assigned
