Responsibilities: of the FedRAMP Technical Writer: • Create and maintain FedRAMP documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), standard operating procedures, policies, and control narratives. • Collaborate with cloud operations, engineering, security, and compliance teams to document technical processes and system architectures. • Track documentation deliverables and project milestones to ensure timely completion of compliance and operational initiatives. • Translate complex cloud infrastructure and security concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation. • Support audits, assessments, and authorization activities by providing and updating required documentation artifacts. Qualifications: of the FedRAMP Technical Writer: • 5+ years of technical writing experience supporting cloud operations, cybersecurity, or compliance programs. • Hands-on experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and related federal compliance frameworks. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation initiatives simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
