We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans.

*Duties*

- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.

- Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed.

- Ensure all deliveries are made on time while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.

- Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any inquiries or concerns.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts.

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.

- Assist in moving items as required for deliveries or warehouse operations.

- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.

- Experience driving box trucks or vans is a plus.

Pay: $57,180.00 - $67,600.00 per year

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial customers.
Load, organize, and unload packages to ensure efficient delivery routes.
Deliver packages accurately and on time while following scheduled routes.
Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures when required.
Provide professional and courteous customer service during all interactions.
Inspect delivery vehicles before and after each shift to ensure safe operating conditions.
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Use handheld scanners and mobile devices to track deliveries and update package statuses.
Handle packages carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
Resolve delivery issues, such as incorrect addresses or customer concerns, according to company procedures.
Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation.
Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or delivery exceptions.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Meet daily delivery goals while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Assist with loading and sorting packages at the distribution facility when needed.
