Description

As a FedEx Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate package delivery to customers, driving routes with a focus on safety and efficiency. Reporting to the operations or delivery supervisor, you will leverage a company provided delivery truck experience to handle loading, unloading, and route navigation. Your strong customer service, adherence to traffic regulations, and diligent handling of parcels will contribute to reliable on-time deliveries and a positive brand experience. This role emphasizes consistent route performance, professionalism, and safety-first delivery practices.

Job Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport and drop off packages to customers and businesses on established routes.
Load, unload, and secure packages, using a dolly or manual handling as needed, while ensuring proper weight distribution.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service, verify recipient information, obtain signatures when required, and communicate delivery updates.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, manage route efficiency, and adhere to delivery windows and company policies.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old
Must be able to pass a Drug Screen.
Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
Must have a clean background check.
Must be able to pass a DOT Physical.
Must be able to move quickly and lift pkgs up to 80lbs, handle pkgs up to 150lbs.

MRM Distributing, Inc. is a growing Contracted Service Provider for FedEx Ground working out of the Hermitage, PA terminal servicing the greater Sharon - Hermitage area. We are looking for responsible, reliable, and flexible team players to safely deliver and pick up packages to homes and businesses on a daily route. This is a full-time position.
