Department: Sciences & Technology Salary: $12.00 per hour
Description:
The College of Sciences and Technology is seeking a Federal Work-Study student to serve as a Web Technology Assistant and support website updates and digital projects.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists faculty and staff with department needs
- Assists students and visitors to the department
- Answers phones and provides front office coverage
- Assists in organizing inventories
- Assists with student events
- Performs all other duties as assigned, which may include:
- Handling the CST social media
- Creating and designing posts for the college while following university guidelines
- Leveraging data from social media to better engage online audiences
- Researching current social media trends
Qualifications:
- Must be a current UHD student
- Must qualify for federal work-study
Preferred:
- Interest in design, marketing, or data
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with social media
