Position Summary:
Develops and manages digital content to promote the Theatre & Film department, its productions, and student work across approved digital platforms.
Must be eligible for Federal Work Study. If uncertain of eligibility, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Create and schedule social media content
Capture photo and video content from rehearsals and events
Maintain brand consistency across platforms
Collaborate with department design workflows
Assist with additional theatre production and facility tasks as assigned by the Technical Director after primary weekly responsibilities have been completed.
Weekly Deliverables:
Weekly content calendar
Minimum of 1-2 published posts or videos
Engagement metrics report with basic analytics
Organized archive of captured media
Social media platforms and digital content trends
Basic photography and videography practices
Branding and visual identity standards
Copyright, permissions, and appropriate content use
University and departmental communication policies
Content creation for social media and digital platforms
Basic photo and video editing skills
Written communication and caption copywriting
Time-management and scheduling skills
Attention to detail and consistency in visual presentation
Create and schedule engaging digital content
Capture photo and video content during rehearsals and events
Maintain consistent branding across platforms
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student teams
Work evenings or weekends as required by production schedules
