Occupational Summary RCS work-studies will work at RCS located at 919 George Street in New Bern, NC. The work-studies will be involved in answering phones and assisting RCS staff with assigned duties as needed. In addition, the work-study would help support RCS with serving the community by performing assigned responsibilities on site at the assigned RCS location.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Answer RCS phone lines and transfer calls
• Assist RCS staff
• Assist with organizing/filling pantry orders
• Use RCS provided software to communicate between service areas
• Escort or direct the community to applicable RCS buildings on site
• Support staff in daily tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean work area
• Help prepare the RCS events and mailings
• Assist with RCS tours
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications Enrolled student at Craven Community College and eligible for the Work-Study Program

• Ability to work with community
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Displays Leadership Skills
