ECU Department of Academic Affairs, Associate Vice Chancellor's Office is currently seeking several Federal Work Study Students to serve as Financial Aid Office Assistants.

Duties will include:

  • Utilizing Banner and Xtender (electronic filing system), and will be responsible for visually comparing paper documents to Xtender scanned documents in which to ensure that each paper record is readable and has been correctly scanned to the correct file/year.
  • Notating in Banner that work was checked.
  • Setting document shred dates in accordance with office procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining "Shred Date System" rotating documents from 30 day wait periods shred.
  • Assisting with outgoing mailings.
  • Assisting with weekend Financial Aid office events.

GPA Requirement Minimum of 2.0 Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)

Good typing skills and attention to detail are a must. Students must be reliable and self motivated. Problem solving skills are a plus.
