| Job Description: | Federal Work Study Student Assistant to assist with training activities for the Gator-2-Gator (G2G) peer support program within the Counseling & Wellness Center. Gator-2-Gator is a peer support program where students are trained to support peers experiencing distress. Gator 2 Gator provides 30-minute consultations for personal support and/or referral information about helpful resources. The Gator-2-Gator Graduate Student Assistant is responsible for providing Gator-2-Gator training, consultation, and support for UF students, faculty, and staff. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Assist with CWC’s Gator-2-Gator Program with duties including, but not limited to: • Conducting a minimum of two (2) Gator-2-Gator trainings on a monthly basis. • Facilitating weekly Gator-2-Gator consultation meetings ambassadors providing G2G peer support on campus. • Attending Gator-2-Gator program planning and implementation meetings • Assisting with scheduling and coordinating Gator-2-Gator program trainings • Other similar duties as directed by supervisor.
