    Job Description:

    The Arizona Department of Child Safety (AZDCS) is seeking a Federal Benefits Specialist (Post-Eligibility Specialist) to manage a caseload of dependent youth receiving federal Social Security, Veterans, and/or Railroad Retirement benefits. This role is responsible for monitoring benefit eligibility, ensuring compliance with Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S. 8-468) and federal program requirements, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to support youth benefits administration. Caseloads may include up to 300 cases per specialist.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage and monitor federal benefit cases for dependent youth.
    • Ensure compliance with A.R.S. 8-468 and applicable federal regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
    • Work closely with team members and stakeholders to support benefit administration.
    • Track case activities and resolve eligibility or payment issues.

    • Experience managing a caseload
    • Experience in health and human services
