Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

  • Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business objectives and technology strategies.
  • Develop system architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, and implementation plans.
  • Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, security, usability, and maintainability requirements.
  • Drive business capability planning and technology enablement initiatives.

Technology Evaluation & Innovation

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, frameworks, and tools.
  • Lead Proof of Technology (POT) and Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives.
  • Recommend technology solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.

API & Integration Architecture

  • Design and govern APIs, integration patterns, and service-based architectures.
  • Lead integration efforts involving enterprise applications, third-party systems, and cloud services.
  • Ensure seamless interoperability and data exchange across platforms.

Performance, Scalability & Security

  • Define and implement best practices for application performance and scalability.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure implementation of security controls including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure communication protocols.
  • Plan for future growth and capacity requirements.

Development Governance

  • Perform manual and automated code reviews.
  • Establish and enforce architecture standards, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership.
  • Drive reduction of technical debt and improve overall platform health.

SDLC Leadership

  • Participate throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle:
    • Planning
    • Design
    • Architecture Review Board (ARB) approvals
    • Development oversight
    • Testing and quality assurance
    • Deployment and launch
    • Warranty support
    • Production support

Operational Support

  • Lead issue triage and remediation activities during development and production.
  • Provide architectural guidance for incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
  • Support implementation, launch activities, and post-production stabilization.

Documentation & Communication

  • Create architecture artifacts, technical specifications, design documents, and integration diagrams.
  • Present solutions to Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and Centers of Excellence (COE).
  • Conduct architecture reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions with development teams and stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for platform capabilities and architecture.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of out-of-the-box (OOTB) platform functionality.
  • Collaborate with Data Architects and data teams to ensure alignment across enterprise solutions.
  • Assess platform maturity, technical debt, and optimization opportunities.
  • Develop multi-quarter technology roadmaps and capability expansion plans.
  • Take ownership of architecture deliverables, application quality, and technical outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Solution, Application, Enterprise, and Integration Architecture.
  • Strong understanding of modern application architecture patterns and enterprise systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, and scalable application design.
  • Proven experience leading architecture governance and technical decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of security architecture, performance optimization, and system scalability.
  • Hands-on experience with code reviews and development best practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
