About the Position
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Farsi-speaking (Persian-speaking) caregiver to provide in-home support to a client in Santa Monica, California.
The ability to communicate in Farsi/Persian is important for helping the client feel comfortable, understood, and supported. We are looking for someone who values meaningful connections and takes pride in providing respectful, personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and communicate with the client in Farsi/Persian
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene as needed
- Prepare simple meals and provide nutrition support
- Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers as needed
- Provide medication reminders
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry
- Accompany the client to appointments, errands, or activities as needed
- Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- Ability to communicate in Farsi/Persian
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain before the first assignment
- California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain
- Current TB clearance
- Ability to complete a Live Scan background screening
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
- CNA certification is a plus but not required
