We are committed to providing our customers with the freshest and healthiest turkeys on the market. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Turkey Farm Manager to join our team.
Job Summary: The Turkey Farm Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operation of our turkey farms.
Job duties will be:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the turkey farm, including feeding, watering, and caring for the turkeys.
- Managing a team of farm employees and ensuring that they are properly trained and performing their duties effectively.
- Developing and implementing farm management plans to ensure optimal turkey health and welfare, ensuring that all procedures are in compliance with industry standards, biosecurity and government regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records of all farm operations, including turkey inventory, feed usage, and employee time and attendance.
- Ensuring that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Ensuring that all turkeys are cared for in a manner that is safe, humane, and in compliance with industry standards and government regulations.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of new farm projects, including the expansion of the turkey farm and the introduction of new products.
- Other duties as assigned.
