WHO WE ARE
The Institute for Family Development (IFD) is an international leader in providing services that keep children safe, strengthen families, and reduce out-of-home placement. WHO WE WANT TO HIRE
We are looking for therapists/counselors who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children, youth and families in their communities. We are currently hiring a full-time therapist in our HOMEBUILDERS® program. This position primarily serves families in Spokane County, and, as needed, in adjacent counties.
  • Maintain a small caseload of 2-3 families.
  • Work with families in their homes and community locations.
  • Schedule client sessions at times that are most helpful to families.
  • Maintain availability to respond to their assigned families, or arrange coverage within their team if unavailable.
     
HOW TO JOIN OUR TEAM
Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate or undergraduate degree in social work, psychology, human services or related field.
  • Undergraduate candidates must have at least two years’ experience working with children and families.
  • Valid driver’s license, a vehicle in good working condition, and automobile liability insurance that meets minimum agency requirements.
  • Residence in Spokane County
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet client needs (including some evenings and weekends).
  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal history background check.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Competitive Compensation
  • Master's degree: $64,556 – 76,498 (starting $64,556 - $69,035), depending on education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree: $57,583 - $68,440 (starting $57,583 - $61,655), depending on education and experience
  • Paid mileage and paid travel time
  • 5% bilingual salary add-on for some languages
  • This is a non-exempt position that qualifies for overtime compensation
