BUILD BRIDGES TO SUCCESS

At Children's Home Society of Florida (CHS), we believe families are strongest when they have access to the information, support, and resources they need to help their children thrive.

As a Family Resource Specialist, you'll serve as a trusted advocate, connector, and voice for families navigating early intervention services. Through education, networking opportunities, training, and community engagement, you'll help empower parents and caregivers to become confident champions for their children.

This is more than a resource role. It's an opportunity to turn personal experience, compassion, and community connections into meaningful impact for families throughout your region.

If you're passionate about helping families feel informed, supported, and empowered, we'd love to meet you.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Family Resource Specialist, you'll help ensure families have access to the tools, information, and support systems they need to successfully navigate services and advocate for their children.

You'll strengthen family voices, build meaningful partnerships, and create opportunities for families to connect, learn, and support one another.

Your work may include:

  • Creating and implementing family engagement initiatives that connect families to support, training, and information.
  • Facilitating networking opportunities, support groups, playgroups, and family events.
  • Researching and sharing community resources that help families access services and supports.

  • Creating newsletters, educational materials, and communication resources that keep families informed.
  • Conducting surveys and gathering feedback to better understand family needs and improve services.
  • Collaborating with community organizations and Early Steps partners to strengthen support systems.
