    • Provide direct primary care across all age groups, including pediatric well-child exams, immunizations, and screenings.
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
    • Prescribe medications and therapies
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals and make referrals as needed.
    • Educate students, families, and school staff on disease prevention, nutrition, physical activity, and overall wellness.
    • Promote health literacy and empower students to make informed healthcare decisions.
    • Offer guidance on managing chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and obesity.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system.
    • Actively participate in assigned committees, meetings, conferences, and professional development opportunities.
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, school/ health center policies, and public health guidelines.
    • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and data reporting for program evaluation.

    Scheule Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m., 10 months with two months off in the summer, July & August.

    • Communication: Ability to explain complex health topics simply.
    • Empathy: Creating trusting relationships with entire families over time.
    • Critical Thinking: Assessing diverse and sometimes multiple health conditions in one patient.
    • Adaptability: Transitioning smoothly between pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient care.
    • Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner with prior clinical nursing experience in pediatrics or family practice. Experience in a school-based health center setting preferred. Bilingual proficiency preferred.
    • Certification/Licensure: Valid RN license in Massachusetts
    • Software/Hardware: Experience with Electronic Health Records
