Job/Practice Description: Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Mobile ROADS)

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, typically 7: 30 AM–4: 00 PM
• Works on mobile medical units serving students in rural schools during the school year
• When school is not in session, works at one of the organization's medical offices
• Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation/monitoring for patients of all ages
• May perform specialty services after additional training, credentialing, and certification
• Collaborates closely with clinical and other staff to improve patient care and outcomes
• Participates in training, team meetings, and huddles
• Works across Lee, Darlington, Chesterfield, Marlboro, and Dillon counties

Requirements:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, or Master's in Physician Assistant Sciences from an accredited program
• Licensed as an APRN or PA in South Carolina
• National certification (nurse practitioner certifying body, or NCCPA for PAs)
• Minimum 2 years of experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
