    Position Overview
    An established outpatient healthcare organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner, with preference for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), to provide comprehensive primary care services for a university student population ranging approximately from ages 16 to 80. This position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality, relationship-focused care while working collaboratively with physicians and an interdisciplinary clinical team.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients across a diverse adult and adolescent population.
    • Perform wellness, preventive, and other routine health examinations.
    • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical guidelines.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under established physician protocols.
    • Deliver preventive care, health screenings, and disease prevention initiatives.
    • Evaluate and treat common illnesses and injuries.
    • Consult with supervising physicians and medical leadership regarding patient care as appropriate.
    • Provide patient education, health coaching, and wellness counseling.
    • Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing.
    • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when clinically appropriate.
    • Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers when needed.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
    • Support daily clinic operations and assist with additional clinical responsibilities as needed.
    Required Qualifications
    • Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with an active state license.
    • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) strongly preferred.
    • Minimum of one year of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or another outpatient primary care setting.
    • Current BLS certification.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
    • Commitment to ethical, patient-centered, evidence-based practice.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Active DEA registration.
    • Experience with college health, occupational health, or employee wellness programs.
    • Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
