Family Nurse Practitioner-{175952}

 

Location: Bloomington, IN 47401

Pay: $74.87/hr. (W2)

Schedule

Training: 4 weeks @ 40 hours/week
After training: 35 hours/week, including EOE weekend coverage
 

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to support a retail clinic location in Bloomington, IN. This is a patient-facing role providing evidence-based primary care/urgent care services, plus clinic operations support.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Provide primary/family care: assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, counseling, and disposition planning
Perform routine exams and appropriate diagnostic testing
Coordinate care plans with other healthcare professionals
Support preventative care, screenings, wellness services, and chronic condition management
Clinic operations: opening/closing, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean/safe environment
May participate in on-call rotation as needed

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

Prior Primary Care or Urgent Care NP experience (required)
Current NP license in Indiana (in good standing; no disciplinary actions)
BLS certification (AHA or ARC required)
Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced clinic environment
 

Preferred Experience

Experience with common EMR/EHR systems
Willingness to obtain additional state licensure (if needed)
 

Education

Master’s degree from an FNP program
Current national board certification (NP)
