Location: Independence, OR
Medcor is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis in an employer-based clinic located within a manufacturing site.
This clinic focuses on Primary Care and Urgent Care and operates:
- Monday - Wednesday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Compensation: Starting at $74.00/hour, with increased earning potential based on experience

About the Role
This PRN position offers flexibility with no guaranteed hours, making it ideal for providers looking to pick up occasional shifts.
You will deliver primary care and acute episodic care, working closely with:
- On-site clinical staff
- Medcor leadership and colleagues
- Client health, safety, HR, and operational teams
Youll also collaborate with a Medcor oversight physician assigned to the site.
Additional Details:
- No weekends
- No on-call requirements
- Flexibility for additional hours (with advance notice) preferred
Scope of Services
The clinic provides a wide range of care, including:
- Workers compensation injury and illness treatment
- Urgent care services
- Preventative care
- Surveillance and regulatory exams
A Typical Day Includes
- Delivering high-quality clinical care and customer service
- Treating injuries and illnesses using evidence-based medicine
- Collaborating with internal teams and client professionals
- Supporting workplace health, safety, and wellness programs
- Educating patients on conditions and treatment options
- Coaching patients on healthy lifestyle choices
- Documenting care using EMR and other tools
Qualifications
Required:
- Active, unrestricted Oregon license
- Current DEA and BLS certifications
- Strong computer skills and EMR experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Commitment to exceptional patient care
- Comfort working in an on-site clinic environment
Preferred:
- Occupational health experience
- Work-site clinic experience
