Core Responsibilities
Qualified individuals must be able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to:
- Provide patient consultations and determine treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Monitor medication adherence, lab results, and toxicities
- Prescribe/administer treatments, medications, and vaccinations
- Clearly explain medical procedures, test results, and treatments
- Collaborate with nurses, social workers, pharmacists, therapists, and other team members
- Refer patients to specialists as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency
