Sanitas Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our Hillsborough location in Tampa, Florida.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine physician who enjoys providing comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan, from pediatric through geriatric populations. Our physicians practice within a collaborative, value-based care model supported by an integrated healthcare team focused on prevention, quality, care coordination, and improved patient outcomes.
100% outpatient primary care
Care for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
No weekends
No call responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Provide preventive care, annual physicals, wellness visits, and health screenings
Manage chronic diseases and develop individualized treatment plans
Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
Educate patients and families regarding preventive health, chronic disease management, and wellness
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record
Collaborate with the care team on quality improvement and population health initiatives
Participate in a value-based care model focused on proactive, coordinated, patient-centered care
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment
Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
Outpatient primary care experience preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and patient engagement skills
Commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered primary care
Ability to work effectively within an integrated, multidisciplinary care team
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
