The Staff Pad has partnered with a growing healthcare organization in Las Vegas, New Mexico, to find a Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician. Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible shifts (4x10 hour shifts or 3x12 hour shifts) | No call responsibilities
Hours: Monday to Thursday (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) | Friday: (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform preventive care, annual wellness exams, and health screenings
- Develop individualized treatment plans and manage ongoing patient care
- Perform routine in-office procedures as appropriate
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Educate patients on treatment plans, preventive care, and healthy lifestyles
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff
- Build and maintain a strong patient panel while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
What We Are Looking For
Education, Certifications and Experience
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Active New Mexico medical license or ability to obtain licensure
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain) ; Current BLS certification
- 3-5 years of previous Family Medicine experience preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Comfortable working with varying daily patient volumes (Avg of approx. 5 procedures/day)
