An Off-Campus Work-Study Position - MUST have a Work-Study Award
PB&J Family Services, is interviewing for a student to work part-time supporting Pre-K in the South Valley, Southeast Heights and/or Bernalillo locations. Minimum of 20 hours per week based on availability: Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM.
Excellent opportunity to obtain Pre-K experience working with children ages 3-5. The Pre-K Support staff for Family Literacy will work closely with the Lead Teacher and support classroom and student needs. Implement developmentally appropriate practices and activities to include Family Literacy engagement. Staff may provide additional support and activities to the family to foster children's development needs in the home. As a team create lesson plans following NM Pre-K lesson plan checklist. Work closely with teacher to document observations, concerns, and growths of child.
Since 1972, PB&J has provided needed and trusted services to New Mexico children and families facing environmental risk factors including poverty, developmental disabilities, incarceration, substance abuse and mental health issues.
