Family Law Attorney
Seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to handle a broad range of matrimonial and family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support, and related proceedings.
Responsibilities
- Manage matrimonial and family law matters from inception through resolution.
- Handle contested and uncontested divorce proceedings.
- Represent clients in matters involving child custody, visitation, child support, and spousal support.
- Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct discovery, depositions, negotiations, court conferences, and hearings.
- Advise clients regarding equitable distribution and other financial issues related to divorce.
- Work directly with clients to develop effective case strategies and negotiate favorable resolutions.
Qualifications
- Prior experience practicing matrimonial, divorce, and family law.
- Admission to the applicable State Bar and in good standing.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, research, and legal writing skills.
- Ability to independently manage a caseload and communicate effectively with clients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
