Location: This is a primarily on-site opportunity based in Fleming Island, Florida, offering the flexibility for occasional remote work when appropriate while maintaining performance expectations. Relocation assistance may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Job Description

  • Independently manage a family law litigation caseload from start to finish.
  • Represent clients in divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, alimony, and post-judgment matters.
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
  • Develop legal strategies tailored to each client's goals.
  • Negotiate favorable settlements while preparing every case for litigation when necessary.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the legal process.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to deliver outstanding client service.
  • Build trusted client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and compassion.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and support the firm's continued growth.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
  • 2+ years of family law litigation experience.
  • Ability to independently manage a family law caseload.
  • Strong courtroom, litigation, negotiation, and legal writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
  • Organized with strong time management skills.
  • Professional, collaborative, and growth-oriented mindset.
  • Long-term commitment to building a career with a growing firm.
  • Solo practice attorneys with substantial family law experience are encouraged to apply.
