Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a driven, client-focused Family Law Associate Attorney to join our team. You will handle a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, modification, and property division. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious attorney who wants direct courtroom experience, manageable billable expectations, and clear profit-sharing/bonus potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage family law cases from initial consultation through final order or trial.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in hearings, temporary order proceedings, mediations, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Maintain consistent billable expectations with the full support of a senior paralegal team.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications:
  • Education & License: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active license in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
  • Experience: 1–4 years of family law litigation experience preferred (enthusiastic recent graduates with strong courtroom interest or judicial clerkship experience will be considered).
  • Skills: Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, client communication, and time management skills.
  • High ethical standards and a client-first approach to dispute resolution.
