Family Law Associate Attorney (4+ Years Experience)

Seattle, WA

GPAC has partnered with a well-established and highly respected law firm in the Seattle area that is seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join its growing practice. This confidential opportunity is ideal for an attorney who is looking to take the next step in their career while handling meaningful, sophisticated family law matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced family law practitioners, manage a diverse caseload, and build long-term relationships with clients during some of the most important moments of their lives. The firm values professionalism, teamwork, and excellent client service while providing attorneys with the resources and support needed to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a family law caseload from initial consultation through final resolution.

  • Represent clients in divorce, legal separation, child custody, parenting plans, child support, spousal maintenance, domestic violence, relocation, and other family law matters.

  • Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.

  • Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.

  • Represent clients in mediation, hearings, settlement conferences, and court proceedings.

  • Negotiate favorable resolutions while providing practical, client-focused legal counsel.

  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to deliver exceptional representation.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Active Washington State Bar license in good standing.

  • Minimum of 4 years of family law experience.

  • Experience independently managing family law matters.

  • Strong litigation, negotiation, legal research, and legal writing skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.

  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality client service.
