Mission Bit is a San Francisco-based nonprofit that equips youth with hands-on computer science and AI education that builds confidence, technical skills, and pathways to meaningful careers in technology. We offer a variety of hands-on STEM education programs, including semester- and year-long introductory coding courses, self-paced learning, workshops, and much more.
As a TA for the Intro to AI class, you will help build a welcoming, supportive classroom community and foster productive collaboration among students. You will track student progress, plan and lead community-building activities, and work with the Lead Instructor to run class sessions and help every student reach their potential. If you have a passion for community, social justice, and coding, and want to uplift Bay Area youth and bridge the tech divide, this might be the opportunity for you! Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply (especially those who speak Spanish).
This is a temporary, part-time in-person role based at our partner site in San Francisco, CA, and reports directly to the Education Program Manager. We’re proud to provide training to all instructional staff to prepare them to teach, along with ongoing support throughout the semester.
