    Interventional Pulmonologist Faculty Physician UTTSOM:

    The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time academic Interventional Pulmonologist to join a growing division committed to excellence in clinical care, medical education, and program development. This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in the continued growth of an expanding interventional pulmonary program within a rapidly evolving academic health system.

    About your Role:

    • Provide comprehensive interventional pulmonary services, including advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy.
    • Participate in robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS, pleural procedures, and airway interventions.
    • Collaborate closely with thoracic surgery, oncology, radiology, pathology, and lung cancer screening programs.
    • Support growth in both the capacity and complexity of interventional pulmonary services across East Texas.
    • Participate in pulmonary and critical care clinical activities as appropriate.
    • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and nursing staff.
    • Participate in quality improvement, performance improvement, and program development initiatives.
