    The Opportunity:

    About the Practice:

    The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is a physician-led academic group with over 50 faculty members and a fully sub-specialized practice model. The division handles a high volume of surgical and cytology cases annually and works closely with clinicians and surgeons in a multidisciplinary care setting.

    The department supports robust residency and fellowship programs across multiple subspecialties and offers access to a comprehensive translational research core with advanced molecular and next-generation sequencing capabilities.

    Position Highlights:

    • Leadership of a dedicated GU pathology team, including supervision and mentorship of multiple pathologists
    • Subspecialty sign-out in GU pathology within a high-volume academic center
    • Opportunity to shape departmental strategy, policies, and quality initiatives
    • Active involvement in teaching, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration

    • Faculty appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level

    Candidate Qualifications

    • MD or DO with board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology
    • Fellowship training in Genitourinary Pathology
    • Minimum of 8 years of pathology experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities
    • Eligible for medical licensure in the applicable state
    • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
