UT Tyler Health Science Center is searching for a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join the UT Health's Behavioral Health team in Faculty Consult Liaison role.
About the Position:
- Monday dedicated to the Subacute Residential Psychiatric Unit; Tuesday-Friday focused on the Inpatient Consult-Liaison Service
- Faculty appointment with opportunities to teach psychiatry residents and medical students
- Work alongside two psychiatry residents
- Provide inpatient psychiatric consultations in the Emergency Department and on the general medical floors
- Treat a diverse acute behavioral health population, including patients with substance use disorders and psychotic disorders
- Occasional short-term coverage in other clinical areas as needed
- Consult-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship preferred, but not required
