Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Cardiovascular Surgeon at Creighton University Medical Center and CHI Health, you will be part of our vibrant Cardiac Surgery program and expand our clinical, surgical, research, and educational activities in conjunction with our Department of Surgery and Division Cardiovascular Medicine.
Every day, you will provide cardiovascular excellence, build, grow an adult cardiac surgery practice in all of its domains in partnership with outstanding colleagues and forward-thinking and dynamic academic and business leadership.
To be successful in this role, you will work with an integrated, multi-specialtysystem, working with every member of the cardiovascular medicine team committed to the highest outcome of every procedure we perform. At Creighton University Medical Center, our Heart & Vascular Institute is one of the nations highest quality, award winning heart programs. We are a designated TAVR Center with a high procedurevolumeand excellent outcomes - Supported by a highly ranked team of interventional cardiologists.
In addition, our program is further augmented by our many other resources associated with our academic institution including our inpatient and outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program
Resident activity with the department of surgery is highly engaging at our University Medical Center and Level I Trauma Center.
We are offering a guaranteed two-year base salary, a sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance and comprehensive benefit package

Required:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Board certification or eligibility in Cardiothoracic Sugery
Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska
Strong clinical skills with experience in programmaticdevelopment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care

Pay Range
$850,000 - $920,000 /year
