This includes maintenance of the existing system development of new features integration with new external programs or data sources and running the end of day and end of month processes . Responsibilities and requirements will include but are not limited to • Responsible for the smooth operation of the FACTS system and works with the Systems Administrators to ensure system resources are adequate • Works with system users to determine causes of failures and to develop fixes • Identifies opportunities for system improvements • Develops new functionality and modifies existing programs to meet new requirements • Works with external FACTS partners in the deployment of system updates • Works with customer technical contacts to develop custom integrations • Is part of the end of day and end of month rotation - running the programs needed • Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends sometimes with little advanced notice Essential Skills & Qualifications • Bachelors degree with a technical major such as engineering or computer science • Four to six years experience developing in PVX Plus or a dialect of Business Basic • Experience with Infor Distribution FACTS preferred • Ability to problem solve and decide which solutions are best • Ability to review and interpret technical and mathematical information • Ability to apply mathematical operations and accounting principles • Ability to determine tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong recognize a problem and seek help as necessary • Responsible for decisions that may have a noticeable effect company -wide • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills • Excellent communication written and verbal organization and problem -solving skills • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job duty of all positions at Roberts Oxygen • Ability to pass pre -employment screens Why Roberts Oxygen Since our founding in 1966 as a local distributor of compressed industrial medical and specialty gases cryogenic gases and equipment welding equipment and supplies we have expanded our capabilities and services to meet the ever -changing needs of our customers.
