Who We Are
Facilities Operations supports the planning, construction, operation, and maintenance of the University of Michigan Dearborn's buildings, grounds, infrastructure, and utilities. Our work promotes energy efficiency, sustainability, environmental health and safety, and the well-being of students, faculty, and staff.
We also provide essential campus services, including mail and deliveries, transportation and parking services, and fleet maintenance.
Job Summary
The intern selected for this position will provide support and assistance to the Facilities Operations team. The position reports to the Director of Planning and Construction and
will work closely with project managers and the Interior Designer. This position offers hands-on experience with campus construction and renovation projects, project
coordination, and stakeholder communication.
This position requires a commitment of 10-20 hours per week during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with flexibility during final-exam
periods.
This is an in-person position based out of the Campus Support Services building on the UM Dearborn campus.
