Description

We are seeking a hands-on Facility Technician to support our manufacturing facility in Virginia Beach, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and general upkeep of the building, grounds, and facility equipment.
The ideal candidate will have an industrial/manufacturing maintenance background, be comfortable working across multiple trades, and be able to independently handle day-to-day facility needs.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine, preventative, and emergency building maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitor and maintain building HVAC systems.
  • Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, and general facility repairs.
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Support office moves, furniture moves, and factory equipment moves.
  • Assist with manufacturing equipment maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain building grounds and support general facility upkeep.
  • Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
  • Work safely at heights when required.
  • Order and maintain materials and supplies needed to complete assigned work.
Qualifications Required:
  • 2+ years of maintenance/facilities experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with general building and facility maintenance.
  • HVAC experience strongly preferred.
  • Electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general repair experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience is required – candidates without prior forklift operating experience should not be submitted.
  • Comfortable operating or learning to operate scissor lifts and boom lifts and working at heights.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing/factory environments
Pay:
  • $22–$27/hr.
Schedule:
  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
