Directs and monitors work for a small group (typically up to 5 employees) of staff performing maintenance functions. Provides direction and support to staff to assure departmental effectiveness and efficiency. Orients and trains staff. Provides input into performance evaluations. May act as supervisor in the absence of the actual supervisor. Carries out supervisory responsibilities within areas of responsibility in accordance with CBRE's policies and applicable laws.
EDUCATION | High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g., GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required. Valid Driver's License (Class III) preferred. |
EXPERIENCE | Knowledge of general maintenance/repair techniques typically acquired through 3–5 years of experience. Education beyond high school may count toward experience. |
SKILLS | Overall knowledge of cleaning procedures, inventory management and receiving, mailroom functions, and building maintenance required. |
Busy environment with frequent interruptions. Work requires frequent lifting, standing, carrying, moving, and walking. Requires lifting a minimum of 30 pounds. Work involves routine exposure to the elements and moderate exposure to chemical substances.
