About the Role
We are seeking a Facility Plant Engineer to support site-wide HVAC, utility, and energy systems. The engineer will be responsible for system optimization, troubleshooting, maintenance, infrastructure projects, commissioning, and continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and performance optimization of HVAC, utilities, and energy systems.
• Support design, specification, construction, startup, commissioning, validation, and handoff of new equipment and infrastructure.
• Manage engineering projects by tracking scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, contractors, maintenance, and external engineering firms.
• Support inspections, regulatory compliance, validated systems, engineering documentation, and as-built records.
• Contribute to energy management, sustainability, infrastructure planning, and lifecycle cost optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with HVAC, facility utilities, and energy systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of AHUs, dust collection, purified water, compressed air, nitrogen, chilled/hot water, steam, and municipal utilities.
• Experience with system design, commissioning, validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Experience with project management, root cause analysis, and data-driven problem solving.
• Strong understanding of compliance, inspections, engineering standards, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and vendor coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with energy efficiency, sustainability, and lifecycle cost optimization.
• Experience coordinating external engineering firms and contractors.
