Description Specialization:AnesthesiologyJob Summary:HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a full-time, BC Medical Director for the Anesthesia Department located in Brooksville, FL less than an hour north of Tampa.For those with a passion for teaching and mentoring, this opportunity is ideal as we welcome our second class of five Anesthesiology Residents in July. HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital's Anesthesiology Residency program is an accredited ACGME advanced program. We are part of the HCA Healthcare/University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.Our Anesthesia Program offers a collaborative, learning environment that values mutually respectful communication and a teamwork approach. Description:Anesthesia Care Team model of 12 Anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs covering 12 sites of ServiceSupervision APP (1:4) Residents (1:2)Case mix includes General, Ortho, Cardiac (separate team), Thoracic, Vascular, OB, GI, Endo. No trauma or Peds.Average cases per day is 50. Physicians are scheduled 7a-5p, Mon - Fri.In-house call shift 2:45p- 7a with post call day off and back-up beeper call, 7p -7a.
