We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Facility Manager to oversee building maintenance, equipment maintenance, renovations, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong skilled-trades background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience maintaining industrial facilities and equipment. Manufacturing experience is a strong plus, particularly for candidates who have worked in an industrial production environment.
This individual will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise personnel and contractors, maintain preventative maintenance programs, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise and coordinate facility maintenance personnel and daily maintenance activities.
Oversee repairs, renovations, preventative maintenance, and improvement projects.
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed according to safety procedures and company guidelines.
Schedule and coordinate repair and renovation work with outside contractors and subcontractors.
Maintain accurate records of preventative and scheduled maintenance.
Perform and coordinate preventative and predictive maintenance on buildings, equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
Troubleshoot facility and equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
Assist with building layouts and planning for new equipment installations and facility renovations.
Help develop, maintain, and monitor maintenance goals and action plans.
Assist with facility systems including HVAC, fire protection, alarm systems, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery.
Monitor housekeeping and ensure maintenance areas remain clean and organized.
Follow all company safety, environmental, housekeeping, and operating procedures.
Follow environmental procedures related to spills, containment, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Ensure required personal protective equipment (PPE) is used appropriately.
Work closely with management, maintenance personnel, vendors, and contractors to keep the facility operating safely and efficiently.
Perform other maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned by management.
Required:
Minimum 4 years of experience in skilled trades.
Minimum 4 years of combined experience in building, equipment, automotive, or industrial maintenance.
Journeyman skilled-trades background or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance.
Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility systems.
Experience working with tools and maintenance equipment.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, building layouts, and electrical circuitry.
Knowledge of facility systems such as HVAC, fire alarms, and related building systems.
Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors, or outside vendors is preferred.
Manufacturing or industrial facility experience is a strong plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while also leading and coordinating maintenance personnel.
Must be willing and able to work overtime and frequent Saturdays as business needs require.
Journeyman skilled-trades training or equivalent experience preferred.
Some college, technical training, or coursework in areas such as blueprint reading, electrical systems, preventative maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
Relevant trade seminars, certifications, or technical training are a plus.
This is an active, hands-on facility management position.
The employee must be able to:
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Push, pull, lift, carry, and move supplies and materials.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, grip, and perform repetitive motions.
Move and transport plastic parts and materials generally weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Safely use required tools and equipment.
Follow all required safety procedures and PPE requirements.

The core schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM.
Saturday work is frequent, and the successful candidate must be comfortable working weekends as required.
Overtime will be required based on operational needs. This may include staying beyond the regularly scheduled shift.
COMPENSATION$60,000 $66,000 annually, depending on experience
This position is also eligible for overtime.
IMPORTANTThis is a leadership and hands-on maintenance position. The successful candidate should be comfortable both managing maintenance activities and getting involved directly when repairs, troubleshooting, or facility issues require it.
