Facility Maintenance Technician

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of practical experience preferred
• Experience with Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and scissor lifts preferred
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software)
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in elevated areas

What You'll Do as a Facility Maintenance Technician:

• Oversee daily building operations to ensure safety and compliance
• Perform and document daily facility rounds to prevent issues and downtime
• Complete and communicate progress on assigned work orders
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on infrastructure and production equipment
• Conduct environmental health and safety inspections
• Assemble, repair, and modify furniture, equipment, and workstations
• Execute facility improvement projects such as painting, 5S upgrades, and wall patching
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, office supplies, and vending services
• Maintain shared spaces, including café areas and conference rooms
• Comply with GE Vernova standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines
