Job Summary
Facility Maintenance Technician assists in maintenance and repair in areas of electrical, structure buildup and teardown, and general building maintenance at the Charlotte Convention Center
Scope of Responsibility
Supervisory Responsibility
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience in multiple disciplines preferred, including but not limited to
Electrical
Plumbing
HVAC
Ice Technician
Carpentry/Painting
Mechanical Trades (doors, locks, alarm systems, etc.)
Ability to maintain adherence to quality, safety, and the timely completion of assigned projects.
Ability to foster and work well within a team environment.
Strong commitment to customer service and always maintaining a professional atmosphere.
Ability to anticipate customer needs, builds positive relationships with customers and vendors, goes the extra mile to satisfy and exceed customer needs, treats all customers and vendors with highest degree of respect and courtesy and delivers exceptional service to internal and external customers.
