As the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, based in Colorado Springs, CO you will have a critical role in a maintenance organization. You will manage service delivery, including planned/unplanned maintenance and repairs, office planning, and mailroom services; Utilizes LM Buildings (CMMS) platform. You will interact with Lockheed Martin Facility Manager and stakeholders; Supported by Jacobs Senior and Executive management. You will work closely with the Building Engineer to deliver a proactive FSP program. You will also Serve as Jacobs BeyondZero Safety Champion for onsite FSP team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise maintenance personnel, including mechanics, electricians, instrumentation technicians, and specialists, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Manage maintenance of all facility systems to ensure reliable and compliant operation.
- Ensure preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to established standards and procedures.
- Serve as the primary maintenance point of contact for Facilities and HVAC technicians, ensuring maintenance work requests are clearly understood, prioritized, scheduled, and executed as requested.
- Oversee maintenance planning and scheduling activities to ensure work is properly scoped, prioritized, and resourced.
- Ensure job plans include accurate labor estimates, required parts and materials, tools, safety requirements, and coordination with building tenants.
- Manage and review CMMS work orders, asset history, backlog, and maintenance metrics to support continuous improvement.
- Balance planned maintenance with emergent needs while minimizing impacts to facility operations.
- Manage maintenance of equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, operational requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee upkeep of facility infrastructure, including buildings, structural components, piping systems, mechanical rooms, electrical systems, and support utilities.
- Coordinate inspections, repairs, and life cycle maintenance for critical equipment and facility assets.
- Ensure facility and equipment conditions support safe access, reliability, and efficient operations
- Ensure accurate identification, specification, ordering, and staging of parts and materials required to complete maintenance work correctly the first time.
- Verify parts compatibility, quality, and specifications to prevent rework, downtime, and asset damage.
- Control maintenance costs through effective purchasing practices and inventory management.
- Identify, select, and manage contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and facility improvement work.
- Develop scopes of work, review bids, and monitor contractor performance for safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
- Coordinate contractor activities with the facilities team to ensure safe integration into active plant operations.
- Ensure maintenance personnel are trained, qualified, and competent to maintain process equipment and facility assets.
- Support development and execution of training plans, on the job training, and mentoring programs.
- Promote cross training and knowledge sharing to increase workforce flexibility and resilience.
- Communicate maintenance standards, procedures, and expectations clearly and consistently.
- Communicate effectively with Facilities Manager, Engineering, Safety, Environmental Compliance, and other lines of business.
- Participate in daily coordination meetings, outage planning, capital project reviews, and operational planning sessions.
- Maintain proactive communication with leadership and client representatives regarding maintenance status, risks, and upcoming work.
- Foster positive working relationships with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture, including lockout/tagout, confined space entry, hot work, and job hazard analysis.
- Support environmental compliance through proper maintenance of treatment and support systems.
- Actively manage asset condition and reliability to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned outages.

Here's what you'll need
- Minimum of a HS diploma/GED
- At least 5 years of experience (Trade / Forman / Supervision)
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications and CMMS technology.
- Technical training and mentoring experience.
- Supervisor / leadership training and experience.
- Industrial mechanical O&M experience. (Boilers, Chillers, HVAC, Plumbing, Production Equipment Maintenance)
- Valid driver license with no major infractions
- American Citizen
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance to work in a classified space.
Ideally, you'll also have
- Trade school or technical program diploma preferred.

Posted Salary Range: Minimum
95,800.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
101,500.00

The base salary range for this position is $95,800.00 to $101,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
