    Join Our Family as a Facility Maintenance & Janitorial Specialist! 

    Role Overview 
    We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Facility Maintenance & Janitorial Specialist to 
    maintain our corporate office and warehouse facility. This is not a "surface-clean" position; it 
    requires an individual who takes pride in high-standard maintenance, from general sanitation to 
    the specialized care of fine furniture, artwork, and industrial equipment.

    Key Responsibilities 
    ∙Daily Sanitation & Presentation 
    Maintain a "first-impression" ready Main Lobby by cleaning glass, vacuuming, and managing 
    floor conditions during inclement weather. 
    Execute full-service restroom sanitation, including disinfecting fixtures and restocking all paper 
    and soap supplies. 
    Ensure breakrooms and kitchens (upstairs and downstairs) are hygienic: wiping fixtures, 
    loading/running dishwashers, and managing trash removal throughout the day. 
    Perform high-touch disinfection on light switches, water fountains, and telephones. 
    ∙Specialized Office Care 
    Provide dedicated cleaning for upstairs, downstairs and executive areas, including restroom 
    partitions, private bathrooms and dining areas. 
    Apply specialized cleaning treatments: on leather furniture, stone surfaces, and on designated 
    desktops. 
    Carefully dust and maintain artwork, sculptures, and glass-covered pictures using appropriate 
    tools (feather dusters and Windex). 
    ∙Floor & Facility Maintenance 
    Perform varied floor care: vacuuming rugs, dry-mopping wood/linoleum, and wet-mopping 
    stairways and hallways with high-frequency disinfectant rotations. 
    Operate a floor scrubber in the warehouse walkway on a daily basis. 
    Monitor and clear debris/leaves from roof drains weekly. 
    Perform light industrial maintenance, including greasing warehouse doors/balers, and checking 
    fork truck battery water levels. 
    ∙Administrative & Periodic Tasks 
    Follow a strict periodic schedule for deep-cleaning tasks (monthly windows, quarterly vents, bi-
    annual clock adjustments). 
    Monitor supply inventory and report needs for reordering. 
    Conduct "As Needed" spot cleaning and cobweb removal in corners and high ceilings. 





    Requirements

    Required Skills & Qualifications 
    ∙​Attention to Detail: Ability to follow a multi-page checklist and notice small details like 
    handprints on glass or dust on partition tops. 
    ∙​Physical Stamina: Ability to move furniture (tables/sofas) to clean behind them and 
    work on your feet for the duration of the shift. To include shoveling snow and plowing 
    parking lot with truck. 
    ∙​Knowledge of Surfaces: Understanding of how to treat different materials (wood, 
    marble, leather, chrome, and electronic equipment). 
    ∙​Reliability: Ability to manage time effectively to ensure daily tasks are completed while 
    rotating in weekly and monthly duties. 
    ∙​Discretion: Comfort working in executive offices and sensitive areas and information. 
    ​ 
    Work Environment 
    ∙​Locations: Corporate Lobby, Executive Offices, Restrooms, Kitchens, Warehouse and 
    Outdoors. 
    ∙​Frequency: Daily, with a rotating schedule for periodic deep-cleaning. 
    ∙​Must be able to lift 50#’s or more
