Facility Janitorial Day Porter

As a Facility Maintenance and Janitorial Day Porter, you'll help maintain spotless dining and back-of-house areas, support daily operations with light maintenance, and ensure safety standards are followed. Core Responsibilities
Sanitation & Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors. Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, storage rooms, and lobbies. Wipe down surfaces and glass to keep areas shining.
Dining Room & Front-of-House: Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, wipe down tables and chairs, clean entry glass and windows, and remove visible debris.
Service Area, Kitchen & Back-of-House: Scrub and degrease kitchen floors, clean stainless steel backsplashes, wipe equipment exteriors, and assist with waste management.
Trash & Recycling: Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and manage cardboard and recycling. Help keep refuse and compactor rooms tidy and compliant.
Restocking Supplies: Monitor and replenish essentials throughout the day, including soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and sanitizing stations.
Light Maintenance & Repairs: Complete basic upkeep such as replacing light bulbs, changing HVAC air filters, clearing minor clogs, and performing small patching or touch-ups (including paint work when needed).
Grounds & Exterior Upkeep: Maintain entryways and outdoor common areas. Clear debris and handle minor weather-related tasks such as ice melting or snow sweeping.
Event & Space Setup: Set up, break down, and clean shared spaces such as conference rooms or event areas as scheduled.
Safety & Reporting: Identify hazards, place wet-floor warning signs, and follow OSHA/SDS chemical safety guidelines. Report major maintenance issues to facilities management promptly.
Donuts Prep: Support daily donut preparation by preparing donuts and stocking them on shelves.
