Facility Janitor

Position Purpose:To maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary facility by performing routine cleaning, sanitation, and minor upkeep of building areas, restrooms, offices, and production spaces under the supervision of the FSQA ManagerKey Specific Responsibilities:

Embrace Sandridge Foods Core ValuesComply with Sandridge Foods safety and quality programsBe engaged in the SQE Work Safety ProgramSweep, mop, scrub, and disinfect floors throughout production, warehouse, office, and common areas on a scheduled basis.Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, locker rooms, and office areas daily.Empty and dispose of trash and recycling from all facility areas.Clean windows, walls, doors, and fixtures as scheduled.Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in restrooms and breakrooms.Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and other cleaning equipment safely and correctly.Follow proper procedures and use of approved chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing.Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or facility damage to the FSQA Manager.Assist with minor facility repairs and upkeep as directed.Set up and break down tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings or events as needed.Monitor and maintain adequate levels of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor of shortages.Comply with all safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.Highly detail oriented with good organizational skills.Can perform with minimal supervision.Be able to work in a production-based environment and adhere to facility procedures.Complete other miscellaneous duties as they are assigned and/or arise.

Qualifications for Position (Experience, Education and Licensure):Minimum (required):

Education- High School diploma or GED preferred, but not requiredPrior janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience preferred

Supervision:

None

Measurements of Performance:Facility cleanliness audit scores, timely completion of assigned cleaning schedules, safety compliance, and supervisor feedback will be utilized as a method to measure individual performance.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning schedulesKnowledge of proper use, storage, and handling of cleaning chemicals and suppliesAbility to safely operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuumsCapable of following written and verbal cleaning schedules and safety proceduresAbility to identify and report facility maintenance or safety issuesPhysical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift supplies (up to 40 lbs) for extended periodsDependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
