Facilities Worker II / Middlesboro Campus

Job Summary

Performs general cleaning and maintains grounds of campus facilities for a clean and sanitary facilities for students, faculty, staff, and the general public, on a daily basis. The shift is from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This schedule is subject to change to meet the needs of the academic class schedule.

Job Duties:

1. Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and removes waste and recyclables.

2. Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances, reports issues to appropriate entities.

3. Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory and requests additional supplies as needed.

4. Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs.

5. Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, classrooms, eating areas, offices and meeting rooms.

6. Provides groundskeeping services such as mowing & weed eating and maintains clean walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter,
snow and ice.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
